Clouds gathering over St Ives
Painted on Gwithian beach looking over the sands towards St Ives. It was lovely in the sun but as lunchtime approached the winds suddenly gusted at around 50mph so after a hasty retreat back to the car, the painting was finished off in the studio.
An original painting in oil paints on a canvas panel 30x24cms, in a white frame (by Custom House Gallery, Porthleven), over all dimensions 36x30 cms.
