Heatwave
A glowing border of Kniphofia (Red Hot Pokers) during the heatwave in June 2023. The Kniphofia are great drought resistant plant that come in a range of colours mainly in shades from yellow through to red, but also include white, cream, beige and green. A variety will flower through most of the the season from Spring through to Autumn. They always attract the eye and tempt me to get out my paints.
