Boscregan farm sits on the cliff tops just outside St Just in far west Cornwall. The views from there are spectacular all year round but in late June and early Juky something wonderful happens as a l number of fields turn purple. The farm is home to a rare and beautiful wild Purple Viper’s Burgloss, usually seen in Southern and Western Europe and North Africa. Due to careful conservation techniques and field management the flower is now growing in great numbers on this farm. In places it is interspersed with corn marigolds and red field poppies. It was such a joy to find these fields at last, and they just had to be painted.
